Mike Piper’s radio message — a tax on this, a tax on that

RADIO MESSAGE, 19 May 2009

The Democrats in St. Paul are copying their counter-parts in Washington, DC – when they think that they’re running out of money, they just raise taxes.

How does that work for you? When you’re short of money, do you just tell your boss that you want a raise? Or do you cut expenses and set priorities?

The Democrats simply can’t manage the public’s business. They feel that there’s a bottom-less bucket of tax money at the end of the rainbow. Well, there isn’t.

They’re taking money from our pockets, and jobs from our communities.

A tax on this, a tax on that. Believe me, it all adds up.

Perhaps we can’t change their minds, but we can change legislators.
